Mike D'Antoni on Rockets' trade for Chris Paul and fit with incumbent star James Harden https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...toni-chris-paul-trade-james-harden/438059001/
was this a logo approved trade? you don't if this will work out well for the rockets with him involved.
I was one of Pbev's biggest fans on the board and didn't want the Rox to trade Bev and co. for assets and then sign Cp3 in FA...but that was before Cp3 got traded for a poopoo platter. Sorry to Harrell and Dekker, but honestly those two guys combined don't matter much so basically the only real assets Clips took back were Pbev and a pick, so essentially the Rox just spent 1 pick to upgrade from Bev to Cp3. That's just nuts and a deal I do everyday despite the fact that I loved Bev on the team. Having Cp3 on the roster makes all the difference, with both him and Harden its a lot easier now to recruit stars, just need to dump Anderson to open up the cap and in the process Morey got an 11M te that's nuts. We'll see what happens but even if the Rox just kept all their guys I think they're still automatically better than SaS. I mean backcourt of Harden/Cp3/Eric Gordon who the hell can keep up with that?
I really think that if this works out on the court, and especially if we can get PG or Melo, we will get LeBron next year. The first or second greatest player in League history could be a Rocket. Man...
Gotta respect Michael Smith for laying the smackdown on the whole BSPN "they can't share one ball" spin. Smith spoke intelligently laying out a perfect rebuttal explaining the logic and then repped Morey and Les by name for having the balls to take on the Warriors while the rest of the league cowers and folds. I love it!
