    I am no Bima, but these, I think, are mostly accurate.

    Rockets operating over the cap, even without all the non guaranteed salary. They have a trade exception (11m), MLE (8.4m) and BAE (3.2m).

    You need 14.5m to make a trade for Paul George, so theoretically you could get there by trading Ariza, Capella and all our NG'ed contracts. Then you use your three exceptions to round out the roster. Perhaps the BAE for Nene, the MLE for Patterson, and then perhaps some sort of SnT for an 11m dollar player.

    LMAO at how close the guaranteed salary is to the salary cap. Morey got it JUST right. You can't even fit MY salary in it.

    Rockets don't have a TPE. That 11-12 million figure Morey threw out there is what all the insignificant players combined can be traded for.

    Question I have is whether we'll end up over the luxury tax. If we use all of the exceptions that takes us over the luxury tax.

    We have 5.5m in NG'ed deals. The 150% rule makes the maximum amount we can bring in 8.25m

    Brown, Williams, and Nene's cap holds are irrelevant. You keep cap holds in cases where you use bird rights to resign. You can simply waive the cap holds and resign for min, or the BAE in Nene's case.
