Maybe not deserving of its own thread, but I've been on CF for nearly 15 years now, so cut me some slack. Plus, I'm older than most of you f#$kers, so respect that! I think Morey is getting precariously close to pulling the strings on another major deal to net us that third star. When Les was tantalized by our strong season and frustrated by the Spurs series, that may have been the linchpin that gave Morey the green light to pull out all the stops this offseason. The first part of Morey's plan has been in place for a while (Harden) and now the second part has come to fruition (CP3). At the moment, he's furiously working behind the scenes to make that third part happen (George/Millsap/Anthony/Wade), and when that's done, he'll focus on addressing rebuilding our depth and other needs. Hard not to be enthusiastic after today's whirlwind of activity. If it gets any more exciting around here, I'm going to need some adult diapers.
He goes for any big free agent. I wonder if he is a fan of any of the players or just the big name. lol
The last piece of this puzzle ... is .. his buddy JVG Morey only cares about trades. Maximizing returns. J/K In Moray, we trust.
Get Melo here and i'll give him his praise. My concern is does he know when to stop? Morey seems like the type to go to far and try to put a superstar at every position. I think the team with Barkley, Pippen, Drexler & Hakeem was a perfect example
