George is going to be traded where he wants to go. Because that team is going to be willing to give up the most for him.

I know the Dwight situation ended poorly, but that is NOT a swing and a miss signing. We went to the WCF.

We aren't getting both. Maybe CP3 then if we can find some way to get Ibaka that would be nice.

Le$ should just man up and reach down those pockets and buyout Anderson if that's what it takes.

I've never been a fan of Chris Paul's winy ass attitude but he is a top point guard in the league especially for playmaking. We would have 2 of the top PG in assist which I think could be lethal with ball movement

How did he swing and miss on Dwight? Rockets got to the WCF for the first time in 20 years. Bad ending, but Dwight's presence has proven to be toxic for multiple franchises now. Anybody still thinking Harden was the issue is being willfully blind.

Lawson? Sure, that sucked, but we got him for free basically. Worthwhile risk, and once again, Lawson's doing. He just was a bad basketball player.

And if we really believe that Harden holds Morey's hand through every move that gets made, then he's obviously doing a pretty good job, as some of the Rockets most successful seasons in recent memory have come with Harden at the helm.

His $34 mil would handcuff basically every team. He needs to figure out if he wants a shot at a ring or get paid.

This doesn't clear enough cap room. Basically it's still an 8m a year cap hit

Not necessarily, The Rockets didn't have to give up a whole lot for McGrady, because he wanted to play
    with Yao.

I don't think you understand how a buyout works... We would still have the cap hit, and then Ryno would be able to sign where he wants at vet min. Essentially a buyout would tank our chances at any form of success. But hey, roll on with the Le$ narrative, it makes for interesting posts.

    [The Ringer] Kevin O'Connor:
"But the list of teams interested in handing Griffin a long-term maximum contract might be shorter than you’d think considering his long list of injuries. First, to his left leg: sprained MCL, broken kneecap, meniscus tear, partially torn quadriceps, high ankle sprain, knee bone bruise, sprained knee, and strained hamstring. As for his right: He suffered torn cartilage in his right knee in college and underwent “minor” surgery on his right knee this season to remove “loose bodies.” Over the years, he’s suffered other miscellaneous injuries, like a back stress fracture, right-elbow staph infection, and broken right hand. We can now add bruised big right toe to the list."

I know nothing about buyouts or any of the number crunching I see in threads. I always thought buyouts were telling players to gtfo and wipe the board clean
