And very welcome at the time it occurred with every other starter out for a period of time. He easily could have been done after being demoted but he took advantage of the situation and has become a force for this team.

Manaea was all over the place that inning. Altuve screwed up the inning two ways by first being overzealous swinging at the first pitch after the walk to Springer and then trying to still on the first pitch to Correa. Altuve is a sub par player at home. Doesn't make sense.

 

I figured Correa should have scored on the double with 2 outs.
