ya but when the space b/t your ears is so empty that instead of focusing on winning the game in the 4th, you instead try to one up patrick beverley 1on1 time and time again for clank after clank to show him and everybody who the real man is......i'm not sure how much influence that support surrounding him can be. he is just one stubborn fool w/o a clue

I hope more stars will do this unless they want to join the Rockets. Forming superteams is pathetic.

Look, Westbrook is the type of player that can make you hate him and love him at same time, but i like that he shows loyalty, sure, the money are great and all, but he could easily make more being in place like Los Angeles, this is great for both, the league and the fans. Hope more big time stars stay instead forming super teams, it's just not enough stars to go around, who would like to watch Thunder without Westbrook? Look at the Nets, who can watch that shitshow, at least now they got Russell.

Vic Oladipo, Steven Adams, ROberson, Sabonis all faint.

5 more years of having to box out to make sure WB grabs rebounds, 5 more years of scoring only of WB assists

5 more years of media tlak of how Thunder are garbage without WB

I think Harden will give him a run for his money.

Or maybe he's playing where he can make the most money.

Definitely make more in endorsements if he strolled on over to LA

I think OKC can pay him more money than any other team right?

Likely, he is trying to make more money at this point, then joins a team to get ring during the end of the NBA career.

I will give him respect for this. It is a personal decision and Westbrook is going to make a lot more money..... but I think it is overall very good for the league. The league can always use a couple star players leaving in free agency, but every off season shouldn't involve several star players making their free agency tour.

At this point Rings don't mean **** as much as loyalty, morals, and competition does. KD can win 5 rings and still will not EVER have the respect of fans that WB would have with zero rings.

I disagree. Sure that sounds feasible now, but when their careers are all said and done, those 5 rings will mean a whole lot more.

Yes, but he would make it up with endorsements in LA.

umm not sure about all that. you play the game to win a ring. That sounds like what people said about lebron when he left cleveland and all the backlash he took. look at him now and everyone back on his train.

It's hard for me to believe that anyone would have any respect for a fruit cake like KD even after he wins rings. And yes, RINGS are becoming irrelevant Bc you have non competitive players like KD joining teams to eliminate any possible chance of competition and the money these guys make is only going to go up. What would you do? Ring or $200+ mill

Just signed big contracts so don't think they care.

Plus, they're not winning anytime soon

Couldn't agree more. Two or three years from now no one will be saying this. Stars might align every summer now.
