I would rather have Griffin come along with CP3...the chemistry is already there between the 2. PG13 is great, but at least we have Ariza though certainly not on the level of PG13. Rockets need a post up player to keep defenses honest.
If I were PG I would not, I would want to go to Boston, Minny, New Orleans, wherever there is not a glut of old players. Or just play for the Lake show..... That is intelligent. As a fan, yeah, he can stay in Houston for 5 years. All for it.

Rockets lose to a Spurs team without Parker and Kawi. Why would he pick Rockets over Spurs. Don't tell me about financial flexibility with the roster cause they can move their players in a trade just as easily. Spurs can sell him on taking the torch from Tony next year...

Ok. That was a tad harsh but you know what I mean. PG could start something as young as the Timber Pups like Butler....lead a young team instead of being just the No. 2 or No. 3 guy here. CP3 probably would not think he is the third option.
I really don't get it. How would Paul make such a huge difference compared to a Power Forward or additional Center. We need big guys who can not only shoot but defend well, and Paul just doesn't interest me one bit. We have a ton of guards to rotate in with Harden, but have slim pickings when it comes to guys who can shoot and defend at the rim well. They are either old, or too inexperienced.
adding a cp3 is just a huge upgrade for this team, everything from a leadership to top tier talent standpoint. anyone who is struggling to understand how he would even help should probably reevaluate their bball iq. it's not difficult at all and shouldn't be
