drop some T.P. down there before you start grinding. those kind of cold showers are a bad way to start your day.
I disagree with the avoid Chris Paul because teams can't double CP and Harden. One of them could always handle the ball and lead the offense. I think they could both average 10+ assists per game in Mike's offense. We don't need to think about what position he plays. James can play the 2, we already know that. They are just guards in this offense. In my opinion PG13 is the one to avoid right now due to Indiana's unrealistic expectations for what return they get for a guaranteed rental. It would be a great addition to the team and an absolute upgrade over Ariza. SF should be addressed but I don't think it needs to be the "allstar" that Morey is looking for. Millsap would be incredible with Harden. While he isn't a rim protector (don't need one, Capela is getting better year after year) but he keeps people out of the paint. The way he can spread the floor would be great. I also thought Anderson was going to be great with Harden and he was in a way. He just couldn't consistently hit his shot when we needed him. Millsap wouldn't quit and has some other moves to go to besides shooting 30ft 3's.
How will Chris Paul help? He's on the downside of his career, he would kill our cap plus I thought James was doing a phenomenal job running the point.
1st Team All-Defense, and averaged 25 points and 10 assists on 50% shooting against the Jazz's defense in this year's playoffs
If you get CP3, I think part of the pitch is that you tell him you can make room Lebron in 18. Don't they want to play together?
Chris Paul’s Maximum Contract : 2017-18 (age 32) $35,350,000 2018-19 (age 33) $37,117,500 2019-20 (age 34) $38,885,000 2020-2021 (age 35) $40,652,500 $152,005,000 I understand 'upping our risk factor'.... but being on the hook to pay a 34-35 yr old CP3 approx $39-$40M/yr... that aint upping your risk factor - thats basically conceding 2019-2021 seasons for an improved shot now... 40M+ for a 35yr old CP3.... that's just a-PAUL-ing! lol! Would rather gamble on Griffin maturing.... a 4 year max deal would be approx 5M/yr less... and would run from age 28-31... that's an obvious risk - but not a guaranteed albatross...
That's some retroactive heat. As if we needed any more, since things are really heating up, as is often observed by many.
