    No it was in Montrose - one of the streets off of Taft between Allen Parkway and West Gray

    Paris, Texas has some shots of downtown Houston back before the entertainment district (Bayou Place, Wortham Theatre, etc) was built.

    I worked at Texas Pipe Bending co. from 1978 -1981 and we got of early when this movie was being filmed!
