    Diaz doesn't help himself so slow between pitches, especially in 8th inning of a long game. Kills his defense. Ugh team falling apart now.

    Diaz and Feliz combining for the Assholes of the Year Award. The fact that Devenski has to be up warming up right now is annoying as hell.

    Rather...this is precisely when you use Diaz. It's rare that it would snowball the way it did today. But when it happens, you still have a reasonable lead even after pretty much everything that could've gone wrong, did (Feliz coming in and promptly letting both runners come in, in addition to the shellacking Diaz took)

    Exactly. Many will blame Hinch for allowing the A's back into the game by sending Diaz out there, but it was the right decision and one that most managers would make.

    That's fine by me. Just saying, you send your worst pitcher who hasn't worked much out there in that situation. It's nice to get more confirmation that he's not an MLB pitcher today rather than hold him on the roster until he comes in and loses a game that's closer than 8 runs.
