Reposting from the twitter thread: Dragic was following the Rockets before going to Miami, Morey was following Millsap two years ago, Thomas was following Drummond at the last deadline... I don't think it necessarily means something.
PG13 to Houston and Bev leaving opens up CP3 to Houston as well. Best backcourt + SF combo besides the Warriors obviously.
pg really seems set on the lakers. i dont trust the guy. he suffers from melo syndrome. cares about the fame and wants to be the guy on a major franchise. if he gets to la first when they still have young players and picks he will be revered to as a hero and savior of the franchise and go down as one of the greats because of it if they manage to sign big name players in fa and make a trade with what they have. also the $$$$$$$$$ also, he might be superstitious about the time harden was next to him when he broke his foot and takes that as a sign. who knows how much of it is him and how much of it is his agents though. any time la is involved the media gets weird and starts reporting bull **** left and right.
Is this all because Bev wants the Rockets to pay him more like they did Harden last summer and the Rockets are refusing?
Dude wants to get paid, Houston doesn't want to pay him (yet). I'm not sure if Houston is actively trying to move him or if he's trying to drum up a market by making it seem as though Houston is active. Either way, I'd really really really hate to see him go. Take EGo, Anderson, Ariza...just not Bev!
Has any player ever made it this obvious? Part me of wondering if he's trying to force the issue. Feigen, team mouthpiece, tried to downplay the rumor earlier and bev went on Twitter to revive it
Dwight or not Dwight i think Millsap is gone anyway, he wants to win and the Hawks are just way far to even be a competitive team at this point, they might still make the playoff if Millsap stays there, but overall they'll be pretty much irrelevant.
Agree only Bc INDY needs a PG and BEV can fill that void. Also INDY wont get too much for PG13 since he's so determined to only want to go to LA, however, LA won't give up much Bc they can just sign him next year. HOU seems like the only team willing to take that chance Bc if PG13 signs CP3 is def coming.
I think that is you projecting. Seems like he is down for a big payday that the Rockets have clearly stated won't come here.
I agree with this. Bev has been hinting at not being here for awhile. Might as well trade him while his stock is high. I could see him pouting if he is on this roster next year.
The thing that doesn't make sense is no team acquiring Bev is going to just randomly give him more money.
