Crazy considering the meal is expensive.

    Catfish is dirt cheap.

Safe to say that the Astros got a solid return on the Jarred Cosart trade.

He also served us "pizza" with no cheese or meat or anything, really. Bragged on his teenage kid who had "never had a Coke, never eaten a hamburger/fast food...". "I would never put that in my body...".

I felt bad for the kid.

Pete died of a heart attack about [not 10] 5 years later.

Rangers announcers have been talking about the Gallo HR for 2 innings now... at least they're consistent.

"You may have scored 9 runs that inning... but we hit the furthest ball!"

We may have won the war... but they won a small battle.

I'm listening. What the hell else do they have to talk about?

If it were Milo or Ashby, they'd be perving on whatever intern made the mistake of coming by the booth.

Marwin is still short of qualifying for statistical leader boards, but he would be 3rd in the AL in OPS, and he has done it playing 5 different positions.

He is making an extremely strong case to be picked as an All-Star, and it's not a small sample anymore.

Moran is doing really well in AAA. He's in his 4th year of minor league ball. You know as well as anyone that that's not too long in terms of minor league development in general...on top of some guys taking longer than others.

He was in the same draft as Hunter Dozier (2 picks later, same age) and D.J. Peterson (a few picks later) who've done relatively similar things so far in the minors. Clint Frazier and Austin Meadows (drafted higher and lower respectively) were high schoolers who obviously haven't reached the majors yet but are younger. Hunter Renfroe (same age) just came up this year because his team is a lot worse than ours, presenting the opportunity.. and he's not doing a ton in the bigs so far.

The only guys in that 1st round who have produced are Bryant (obviously), Judge all of a sudden, and Jon Gray last year. I think Moran's improvement (dramatically decreased K rate and increased power) is underappreciated as he sits at .286/.349/.542 with just a .290 BABIP.

Man, Marwin don't give away runs by being a lazy baserunner. What the hell was that? All he had to do was slide. He's running home like he doesn't even want to score.

Was that really an out? Kinda embarrassing without a slide.

Another base-running blunder, but oh well, still winning 10+

He definitely doesn't qualify for the "I know when to slide" leaderboard.
