Astros have looked defeated even when we they're up. It's been a trend this whole homestand. What gives? Damn the league for not giving us an off day after that road trip. :<

Their lost this team looks confused ! The swag is definitely gone ! Peacock pitched a two hitter and Martinez is garbage and they have 2 runs

Offensive production in home games is confounding.

I'm putting money on Altuve to go under 2.5 H+R+RBI tomorrow. That'll break him out of this funk. If I put money on it, he's guaranteed like two HRs.

Offense hasn't been good at home anyway but with the pitching issues, they really look like they are pressing. Not as patient at the plate. Tough watch all the way around right now.

Feliz likes to give up hard hit outs.

No kidding. 2 or 3 weeks ago I would have had a decent amount of confidence going into the 8th down by only 2. Now it feels like a huge mountain.

I dont buy it. Streaks, bad or good shouldn't define what is deserved. The same principle responsible for our downturn now played a part in our success earlier. Younger clubs like ours are more prone to these up and down swings. If we can regain our health and get hot again at the right time, they can go all the way. But we have to be careful not to dig too big a hole right now psychologically. If we do, everyone healthy again might not be enough.

Why in the hell does Gregerson get to pitch in a tie game while Feliz gets mop up duty? Makes no sense.

Sure it does. We dont have the luxury to be very selective when it comes to the bullpen. Whoever is rested is going to get the call.

We are playing like crap. Just gotta avoid the sweep tomorrow, take our rest day and figure it out. Bats won't slump forever guys.

Are the Astros too good so bad right now to where all the games are boring now?

Yes. Boring for all the wrong reasons.
