[2017 NBA Finals] Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Warriors didn't go perfect but just learned from someone that 16-1 is actually a record when all rounds are best of 7 series. (Previous was 15-1 by Lakers when first round was best of 5 which of course can now never be beaten as I doubt we'll ever go back to 5 games in Round 1).

 

I mean the saddest part is, this was so financially viable that the NBA will probably keep this train going for years.

 

Yes, how was he able to drive this 73-9 team that was one game away from being back to back champions last year? He must be so proud!

There's doing what Lebrin did. Then there's joining a 73 win team with a dpoy, two time MVP who you just blew a 3-1 lead too.

My view on it is the same as when it happened. b**** move.

You absolutely need a great team to win a championship. That's what the Warriors were. surely if Hakeem decided Ron leave the ROCkets and join the Bulls in the 90s he'd be viewed much differently.

Well, I am enjoying the Astros more than I anticipated (They have hit a rough patch, that's my bad #frontrunning.)

Without Harden and this NBA season, I wouldn't have been trying to find another sport to latch onto.. it's rock bottom for my love of the NBA. Sunken place levels of disappointment.

 

We will only see this team if we watch. This year's finals was enough for me. Meh. Time not well spent.

This was easily the most boring championship of my time watching the sport. I literally watched about 8 minutes of the whole thing. I could see the ratings being down if most folks were like me, but something tells me it had high ratings. People turn things on if they hate a part of something they love. Like the Cowboys going to the superbowl.

 

Sam Mack tried to steal ring here in Houston like Durant, forming a big three, but got busted instead for armed robbery in a holdup at a Burger King where was shot in the foot and hip as he tried to flee police.

 

3-1 means nothing when you lose, the cavs raised their level in 2016. the warriors couldnt match it

 

I'm sure Durant will be so bummed when he reads how people on the internet are calling him a coward while he sits in his mansion with his millions of dollars and nba championship ring shining on his finger

How sweet it is, as a fan after winning the title. Within 5 minutes, you can chant MVP! for 2 separate players.
