It'll happen, this is just a terrible time to be desperate for pitching. Who would trade with you right now?
Right...the hitters are going to have to be even more mentally tough to keep from pressing too much as well through this **** storm of bad pitching.
or maybe you're being to cautious and you don't make the playoffs... nothing is guaranteed at all. We are going to lose a lot of games if we don't get this guys back soon.... ****** starters and bull pen getting hammered. Gotta do something at some point here.
guess it was another get the bullpen rested game tonight. is harris' arm falling off? he has the same amount of innings pitched at this time compared to his previous 2 seasons. 8th is always his.
Who exactly are they being too cautious with? Keuchel had discomfort in his neck and McCullers had issues his his back. Both seem to be minor injuries that can be much worse if not taken care of appropriately. It's like you're saying they are making **** up. Do they need to make a trade, yes. Should they accelerate their timetable for doing so, yes. But these things aren't a one team affair.

They seem like things that if they had to they could pitch through... Kuechel said as much... at some point you need your guys to pitch through minor stuff... you're going to be approaching that at some point.... you can't have 5 starters out at the same time for too long or that lead is going to evaporate... is there risk associated with that? Yes, but there is risk also associated with a rotation of paulinho, musgrove, fiers and peacock for an extended period Edit: maybe I'm being too reactionary but these past 2 weeks or so has shaken me to the core... 5 starters all gone.... Musgrove, Morton, McHugh, Kuechel, McCullers.... wow.
Sure. When that first trade, when they're all just really so excited to do it instead of wait, happens, let me know.
So we are 1-3 at home since our road trip. Not bad for a team who can't steal bases or throw out baserunners.
