just LOL at Obama's flailing. He's so desperate for a legacy, but ultimately will be viewed as a weak leader and ineffective.

Uh... the entire wet feet, dry feet policy came about under Clinton. Stop Space Ghosting, it's silly.

yes: both and--but I'm not sure what ideological bone you're trying to pick. Whatever it is, I couldn't care less and don't feel Cubans deserve any privileged arrangement over the Mexican/Central American diaspora.

Obama's legacy has been first and foremost, George W. Bush's custodian.

When a president has his own party disown and mothball him with the hopes of a future whitewash, that's an unwanted legacy.

Cubans good, Haitians bad. It made sense during the Cold War, but it's time for a change. I don't see why they should continue to be treated differently than Chinese, Belarussians, Burmese, Russians or anybody else who lives under a shitty totalitarian government. As was said earlier, it just seems like a logical part of the diplomatic normalization process.

Interesting perspective. This is a classic supply and demand scenario. Supply is low, but so is money. Now that tourists are flooding in, prices will sky rocket and the locals will be more disparaged than ever.

For a time until the market adjusts.....once investment hits those shores.....and casinos and hotels open, it will flatten out.

whatever this mean... reason given - human rights. Cuba is bad. Problem is that recent $100 B arms deal to Saudi Arabia. Yea, human rights. Sure.

But the question is... is ending Obama's move a good move by Trump, and does it benefit Americans, citizens of Cuba, and our allies in Latin America?

Many people believe we should have closer relations with Cuba. And the people that want this may surprise you:

While some people thing Trump's move was made for three reasons: (1) keep out hotel competitors, (2) open up the opportunity for Putin to put a military base in Cuba, and (3) simply an opportunity to attack Obama's "legacy."

    Latest Trump lie:

Perhaps Trump's friends are happy, but the majority of Cubans in Florida actually favored Obama's efforts to normalize relations with Cuba.

Soviet comrades are wonderful people. Cuban comrades are bad, they have nothing to offer. You can't hack elections with a 1950s toaster.

hypocrisy at its finest. this was done for the republicans in Florida who depend on the cuban american votes. Those people should take their heads out of their arses and take a look at what is going on in the world. Comrade putin and trump, they're like don quixote and sancho panza. Unbreakable be$ties

Are women in Cuba allowed to drive and walk by themselves without a male guardian?
