BTW, for all the frothing cons feeding on rage, yall realize Trump does this by design? Both internally and externally, he's always created an atmosphere of chaos and turmoil in order to look teeny bit better than everyone else. Sad leadership.
Which one of the below are you claiming is like Trump ordering/asking Comey to stop an investigation or is like Trump firing Comey? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_process_against_Richard_Nixon Article I alleged in part: On June 17, 1972, and prior thereto, agents of the Committee for the Re-election of the President committed unlawful entry of the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee in Washington, District of Columbia, for the purpose of securing political intelligence. Subsequent thereto, Richard M. Nixon, using the powers of his high office, engaged personally and through his close subordinates and agents, in a course of conduct or plan designed to delay, impede, and obstruct the investigation of such illegal entry; to cover up, conceal and protect those responsible; and to conceal the existence and scope of other unlawful covert activities.[90] Article II alleged in part that Nixon: repeatedly engaged in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, impairing the due and proper administration of justice and the conduct of lawful inquiries, or contravening the laws governing agencies of the executive branch and the purposed of these agencies.[90] Article III alleged in part that Nixon: failed without lawful cause or excuse to produce papers and things as directed by duly authorized subpoenas issued by the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives on April 11, 1974, May 15, 1974, May 30, 1974, and June 24, 1974, and willfully disobeyed such subpoenas.[90]
What are you talking about? The investigation is ongoing. You have no idea what evidence exists and what doesn't. Just because they don't have an official investigation into Trump doesn't mean they haven't found evidence linking to him in one of their other investigations. This isn't a debate. It's black and white. If this investigation ends and the dialog CONTINUES then I'll agree with you.
You have the former FBI directory stating on his testimony that there is not doubt that Russia engaged in influencing the election and will continue to do so in the future (regardless of party) and you are telling me you are not ENRAGED? This really proves what Trump said during his campaign - he can shoot somebody in the middle of time square and his supporters will not leave him.
Best part about the "let's move on" crowd is that this is the same group that remains convinced that the Clintons killed Vince Foster and all of the other conspiracy theories that were investigated and officially disproved.
I don't know what sort of link is possible, since I believe all three investigations have simply said they are looking at everything: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/crucial...ings-on-russian-role-in-u-s-elections-on-tap/ In addition, Burr specifically called out Riussia: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/crucial...ings-on-russian-role-in-u-s-elections-on-tap/ Not surprising, the specifics of Mueller's investigation is less reported, but, but Rosentstein has spoke to the possibility of Mueller looking at the obstruction of justice aspect and if so he will recuse himself: All that said, here is Comey testifying under oath in front of the Senate Committee and stating he why he believed he was fired: http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-comey-hearing-20170608-story.html Seems that is a pretty direct statement now on the official record of the Senate Investigation. I suspect it is also evidence collected in the independent investigation.
Imagine if there was an ongoing FBI investigation by a special prosecutor over Obama associates during his election campaign colluding with Russians to alter the election. Imagine the outrage.
Correct, in fact I am surprised they don't want to add Foster's death and Obama's birth certificate to Hillary emails and Lynch request to change words to each investigation...
one person mocks people for being enraged the next mocks for not being enraged.... as to your statement, Comey makes no claim that Russia influenced the election, just that they tried. Im sure they try with every election. They didn't change voting records at all (that's nearly impossible). Every American's vote was counted fairly. Why would i be enraged?
yea tons of those threads floating about.... I am not saying move on, I am saying for the love of god someone suggest one crime they think might have been committed. these are not crimes (though unethical): - Asking Russia to dig up dirt on HIllary (no proof this happened) - Ordering Comey to stop an investigation (debatable this happened) - Firing Comey for continuing an investigation (debatable this happened)
100% agree. Trump is not smart enough to collude. I mean, come on, the guy was literally shocked that he won. Now, he's just shocked that he actually has to work. BOOM!
I am enraged that I didn't think to choose bongman as my user name. You gotta admit, that's pretty cool.
The biggest deal on this forum is (each person asking this of themselves): Why doesn't everyone want to accept my opinion as I am clearly right and they are clearly wrong?"
That somebody or something tried to influence OUR election and nobody is yet to being charged? Successful or not, shouldn't ALL Americans be outraged by this and require a thorough investigation be conducted on what was done and determine if there was any collusion involved so that it never happens in the future? This nonchalant reaction is really interesting to say the least.
you want to charge Russians? investigation? sure. never said there shoudlnt be. who would you investigate? trump campaign ? why them and not hillary campaign? or every american? enraged? nobody was hurt so not really. Wanna know wht enraged me? when the American government was complicit in the killing/maiming of over 150+ Mexicans. you know . actual victims.
