    Mechanical adjustments he's refusing to make. He could be in much better shape as well.

    The stuff and build are legit ace level though. Could end up being a huge secret weapon for us this year, and years to come.

    I can't wait to see if he pitches out of the stretch when runners are on or if he still goes full wind up.

    The Astros have stressed him pitching out of the stretch for 2+ years and half the time he doesn't do it. He was effective throwing strikes out of the stretch the second half of last year and was a mess again this year.

    Hopefully he comes in and does well enough to improve his trade value if nothing else. I'm not sold on the idea that Martes will ever amount to anything personally. Hope I'm wrong!
