Here's what I learned: Comey despises Trump and believes he is an unsavory liar. John McCain is no longer mentally fit for office.
Didn't he lie when he said that he had the biggest electoral college victory ever or some crap like that?
Probably easier to count the times he didn't lie. Won't even need to take off your shoes for that count...
McCain is probably seeing a doctor as we speak. He sounds like a kid who woke up in the middle of class when the teacher asked him a question
Probably a good time for a military strike... http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/07/politics/us-led-coalition-syria-strike-at-tanf/index.html
My in-laws were feeling pretty down... fortunately lunch break and Fox News to help perk them up. I have heard Clinton's name a bunch of times, and "not the subject" a few more times. Its all good it appears.
Comey is probably the most trustworthy person in American politics at this moment among true independents. I think the testimony did great to establish his own objectivity and impartiality.
Trump may not have been the subject of a criminal investigation when Comey told him that. He may be as suspect now, he may not be one. Robert Mueller will figure that out. The fluidity of legal language allows for situations to change.
yep this is key. He may not have been a suspect at the time but with more facts the investigation could lead to anything including Trump's personal involvement. Let's use bigtexxx strategy and wait for all the facts before declaring anything.
Never liked Hillary Clinton, but I hated that Comey came out with that 11th hour reopening of the email investigation, just days before the election. Either you have proof and charge her with a crime or wait till the election is over. Nevertheless, by all indications, Comey is a honorable career civil servant. If you are siding with Trump, just know that you are believing on an incredibly arrogant bafoon who should have never been elected potus. After all, there are people on this board who are probably more qualified than him. If country over party affiliation is your thing, let the investigation take its full course.
By comparison, Comey seems like the only decent person in this whole election fiasco. Trump, Flynn, Hillary, Loretta Lynch are all crooks and/or career politicians. No wonder why people have so little faith left in the government.
It will never be country over party for those people. They could be dying from cancer they received from polluted water and watch as poor starved people are denied food and they'd still believe that America is about taking care of yourself only. Prime example, Ted Cruz and the assault to his family and character all for the sake of being on the winning team.
A point Perry Bacon made on FiveThirtyEight's coverage: It’s significant that Republicans have basically conceded Comey’s testimony is correct. He repeatedly has contradicted Trump’s public comments. So they are in effect conceding that Trump has been lying. They are now trying to downplay the significance of Trump’s behavior, not contesting this is what Trump did.
