Agreed. Had some horrible experience with them.

It's been a very long time, but I recall Rio only worth going to for their Seafood buffet. A buddy recently came back from there, and said it's still surprisingly good.

I will be in Vegas at the end of the month for one night staying at the Linq. Driving back solo from California so I'm going to make a pitstop there the first night. While I've enjoyed a lot of good meals in Vegas, my two must-haves when I'm there I'm already getting in some capacity in other locales on the same trip. So, what is the one meal you would have in Vegas if you had just one night there?

Mine is only because Alaskan King Crab is my favorite food of all time. But even if it is not, they have always had exceptional service, and all of the food I've gotten there has been amazing.

For those reasons I would pick Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab in Caesar's Palace shops area. Their Alaskan King Crab is not only the tastiest but you get more for the money than other places that serve Alaskan King Crab legs.

As mentioned before, if I had to choose one meal it would be at Peppermill north end of the strip. If not Peppermill, than BurgerBar at Luxor/Mandalay.

Peppermill - French Toast Ambrosia or an Omelet (they have several to choose from, all bigger than you can imagine)

BurgerBar - I get the Buffalo burger on sesame bun. They have endless toppings, all fresh. They also have a beer binder, not just a menu, their beer selection encompasses over 100 different beers. I don't drink myself, but if I did I'd not be able to find a better selection.

Try the Ceaser's buffet. Thought it was better than the Bellagio one.

I had their pork chop last time, it was phenomenal. However, I'm looking for a place I've never been. A bar to sit at is preferred as well.

Have you tried the tapas place Jaleo at the Cosmo? Morimoto just opened at MGM too.

I second Joe's. I had a relatively large party there many years back, and we all loved the atmosphere (nice, but laid back), and the food was of course great. I think it's time to revisit this place my next Vegas trip.

It's better, but not as good as Wynn's.

One meal? I don't probably go to Joel Robuchon. $600-700 per person but worth it.
