I have been wondering if he was abducted by bigtexxx for those years... strapped to a cold metal chair... and made to sip cognac w Trader_Jorge. The only allowed breaks were to watch Fox and Friends. :-(

No he was all of those things at once, no change of clothes required!

(Full disclosure: I don't believe he was a Russian double agent.)

Anyway, some people refuse to accept he fact that he's just an immature sleezeball who was hit and miss as a businessman but was such a tabloid sensation that he has thrived as a brand. His entire life is full of him making bad business deals, skirting the law, etc. he didn't become that recently.

Just like Russia there is no direct accusation of anything in this other than not being as charitable as he claims

It compares him to a drug cartel to make that point

That's one way you become a billionaire, by skimming, cheating, double dealing, and skirting the law for 50 years.

This isn't your personal twitter. I swear you spend more time talking to yourself on this board with multiple posts in a row.

The only person who can explain that would be Trump or his kid. It is more than innuendo, the whole article was based on the filings by the Trump charity, and the words that came out of Eric Trump's mouth. It's not people picking random facts and trying to piece together a faux scnadal.

Yes he isn't trying to hide anything

But the bigger point is the article has no clear motive by Trump

Who knows what it's about but clearly Trump doesn't believe he is doing something illegal

The article says over the years Eric raised over sixteen million through the tournament and his own and they spent three million

By itself the tournament raised eleven million

The Trump Organization is not the Trump Foundation. The Trump Foundation doesn't own the golf course. The Trump Organization is a For-Profit company owned by Donald J. Trump.

That is the point. Why does somebody so rich have to charge his son's charity substantially more than what could normally be expected?

Not trying to hide anything? That is why his son claimed they use Trump assets for free?

It isn't illegal, IMO. It definitely isn't uncommon (foundations are frequently abused to profit founders and their families). It is just another sign that Trump is a dick and that he is deceitful (though in this case it was his son lying).

I don't think we'd disagree that raising money for St Jude's is a great thing. Overall the charity is successful, but that isn't a good reason for DJT to overcharge it.

I understand that. What's your point regarding the post you responded to

As far as Trump charging more money the tournament also got bigger so I don't know but the article should have done some more homework
