Harden and Ariza got into a fight after game 5, hence Harden's game 6 performance.

Eh...i don't really know what to think at this point, but for me game 6 wasn't "just one bad game", and something like this may explain it.

I do hope this is bs but i'm really starting to have negative feelings between the Malone jr case, that episode with a reporter, other little things and now this with possibly what ThatBoyNick said.

If Harden played like that because Ariza called him out or something well, that's not good, i was going to say that he would remind me of Howard...

    A couple notes.

Ariza wrote that piece before the playoffs. And it's a fluff piece. Harden so willingly moved to point guard. Fluff. Wonder what Harden would've done if coach said they needed to get another point guard in the lineup and asked him to move to small forward?

    So the piece means nothing.

And no, they weren't feuding all season. That means nothing as well.

But Harden wasn't vindicated concerning Dwight. Because, you see, everything this season boils down to the same thing as last season.

    Harden's stubbornness and immaturity.

That's what game 5 and the aftermath was about. And it was a season long buildup of pressure. Pressure on Harden who then blew that pressure on to his teammates to help him more, make his system work.

In the playoffs you can't get off that pressure. The playoffs are specifically designed to build up pressure. And they did. And Harden blew. Because he was confronted about how he was treating his teammates.

Go back and watch game 5. It's all there.

9 turnovers and unable to contain his man.

Unless you have proof, I don't believe it.

Like I said, I know some people within the organization and I have some sources. Take it for what it is and take it with a grain of salt. I'm just passing along what I've heard. :)

but yes harden shoukld be traded. no not to rebuild, to retool. celtics are a perfect match with suns to get bledsoe as a playmaker

    I wholeheartedly disagree here.

The issue last season was a question of who was in charge. Was it McHale? No, that's why he got fired. Was it JB? No, that's why he didn't even get interviewed. Was it Harden? No, because then Dwight would be running the PNR more often. Was it Dwight? No, because he wasn't getting his low post feeds like he liked. Everyone did what he wanted to, nobody worked together. Hence why Jet was saying that team had zero chemistry.

Dwight took a tremendous amount of the blame (almost unfairly), but the second he left this team starting to turn in the right direction. James was vindicated. Two games don't undo an entire season. Any player or coach or fan with half a brain can see that. The issue that all this boils down to is talent.

This year, Morey did a great job surrounding Harden with role players, but truth be told we need one more superstar. Like I said numerous times before, Boston, Cleveland, San Antonio and Golden State all have more than one superstar. If a fan can see this, the league and it's players can too. Harden's teammates see this, and while each of them tried to step up, no one did. That's the issue. It's what confounded us two years ago against GS, it's what sunk us this year.

Was there fighting? Sure. Losing sucks and people get angry, but James was in part vindicated this year. The big issue of help for him, still remains to be fixed.

Not debating whether OP is accurate, but you knock him, then say you know someone who's aunt's cousin's best friend's goldfish's manicurist is "part of Hardens group" and gave the REAL info?

    Hmmmm...

Yes, like I have mentioned, you do have ties to the organization. After all you are the Toyota center janitor lead. However, I wouldn't take the word of the popcorn and beverage hawker as a legit sauce.

This is funny bc I remember watching that game and being so pissed off at the fact that Harden kept playing ISO ball and turning the ball over if it wasn't a horrible shot he was getting off. Reason I was getting so mad was bc he would refuse to pass the ball and the few times he did his team would step up big and hit a shot. This game irritated the **** outa me and I remember saying that we would loose game 6 after this selfish performance by Harden

Seems legit if you're trying to spread rumors like a junior high 8th grader in need of a story.

9 turnovers, running his system with all his shooters. No chance for a title playing selfish hogball.

The last games are the most important ones. He's not vindicated. He's verified. Still an immature, selfish player that blows away like a cheap tent in a windstorm.

If Harden doesn't mature and learn to abstain and be a team player first he'll wind up suffering a Francis-style precipitous fall. Just a matter of time if he doesn't change.

    It's on him.

Thanks. Now, the imp't question IMO - - what was the fight about? Why should 10 other guys split like the Dead River?
