Sorry for the long Twitter thread, but Nate makes some great points here about understanding where Trump's support lies. Where I'm surprised is that only 60% of Americans oppose pulling out of the Paris agreement where Trump is still only holding 20 - 25% of American's who strongly support him. Would have thought it to be more like 70 to 75% but shows that Climate Change is still something that is split right down party lines when it should be a bi-partisan issue. Just shows we have very far to go in the education of folks on climate change, and basic understanding of how important it is from a competitive standpoint for our country to lead the charge in new clean energy technology.
It seems that his support is dropping only with people who have the capacity for critical thinking and abstract thought.

Sorry to be repetitive, but I've been calling it: watch them just demonize the Democrats as a communication strategy. Instead of taking advantage of, you know, full control of government, just demonize the minority (pun not intended, sorry) party.
