STEALTHING: MAN EXPLAINS WHY HE TAKES OFF HIS CONDOM DURING SEX

    So this is a thing now . . . . .
I was having a conversation on Facebook with a young lady
we both agreed that this is a form of assault. She stated that is was Rape
    I didn't argue the point because . .. well I don't know

Well . .. I said it would be like a woman poking a whole in a condom
She responded .. . YOU ARE COMPARING POKING HOLES IN A CONDOM TO RAPE???

I explained that: You said Stealthing is rape because the woman is exposed to STDs and unwanted pregnancies with out her giving consent, right? So is not a man exposed to STDs and unwanted pregnancies without giving his consent when holes are punched in condoms?

If one is rape then they both are in my opinion.
    To her they are different.

Am I being illogical in my analogy here?
Or is she being one sided?

18 years of child support is scarier than a STD.

Both the same i would think. Younger generation doesn't have that fear of HIV us 70's babies grew up under. Seems like Easy E was the last celebrity to die from it. Thank Magic Johnson for creating this false sense of invincibility.

    Couple things:

1 - I would rather not have sex at all than have sex while wearing a condom. The sensations is literally NOTHING AT ALL. I may as well be humping the air like a German Shepherd. It's pointless, frustrating, and not worth my time. Fortunately, I am married, and my wife had a tubal several years ago, so, yay.

2 - In a past relationship, a girl was on birth control pills. We were both healthy and monogamous, and so this meant it was safe to engage in sexual activity without condoms, for which I was glad. However, come to find out, she wanted a baby, and so never actually TOOK the birth control pills. To me, this was heinous, and one of the reasons we broke up. I wouldn't call it rape, or assault, or anything like that.. but it was definitely as massive betrayal of trust, and could have had serious consequences for me for the rest of my life. Punitive consequences for her? None.

I say all that to say this: the whole issue above in that story, I understand the man's POV. I don't ENDORSE it, but I UNDERSTAND it.

And I understand her POV as well - such a massive betrayal of trust would feel horrible, and she equates that betrayal to rape. I disagree though - why not let it just be what it is, a terrible betrayal with potential massive consequences.

And RR, your point is just as valid - it's also a massive betrayal of trust, and while not akin to rape, it should be treated as very serious with serious consequences.

Bottom line: Why would anyone be having sex with someone they don't trust? That's just foolish.

Fair game, not rape in the slightest. Condom or not, be prepared to risk pregnancy or STD If you have sex with a guy/girl. Choose your partners wisely or reap the reward.

Thanks. When she hit the RAPE Button . . . . I was hesitant .
Because their is some level of consent there.
To me . . . it is like attempted murder versus murder. . . no matter how heinous the attempt . .. it still is not murder.

I understand that it is a violation. Violations of trust and that betrayal is different than rape to me.
But It is not something i will fight to the grave about

This. Don't want an STD or pregnancy? Don't have sex. **** goes wrong with condoms all the time... and if she's not on birth control, that's on her.

As far a guy taking the condom off, it isn't rape. When you sleep with someone, sleep with people that wouldn't do **** like this. Take some freaking responsibility.

    This man speaks the truth.

Also I had the same thing happen to me Re: old GF lied about taking her BC pills. That was not rape. That was her being a POS and me being stupid for not realizing it. IMO getting a surprise baby is a bigger deal than getting surprise bumps on your genitals that can be taken care of with some cream.

If a woman consents to having sex with you while wearing a condom and you stealthily remove it without her knowing...it definitely is rape IMO.

Which is 100% fine, but then you have to also accept if a woman is not on birth control but says they are, that also = rape. You have to agree with both if that's your take - IMO.

This is stupid, why the **** are dudes taking condoms off, towards the end of my marriage I was slipping the thangs on. I love condoms, especially the ribbed kind, all my sadist in here know what I'm talking about. Fellas always bring your own equipment, I once ****ed a stripper with the condom she gave me, that **** popped on the fourth stroke, I pulled up my pants and got the **** outta there, haven't been back to that club since. Why wouldn't you **** women you don't trust, sex with strange women is the reason sex was invented. Strap up, keep it on and have some ****ing fun

By definition, it isn't rape. No sex is "safe," some is just safer than others. People need to take personal responsibility. If you are hooking up with someone that would do something like that, it is just as much on you, as it is on them. Don't have sex, if you don't want to deal with the ramifications of doing so... this includes your choice of sexual partners.

Don't want to get your ass beat by a jealous husband? Don't sleep with a married woman. Don't want to be "stealthed?" Don't sleep with shitty people.

In the end .. . . .to me it is about slightly nudging the definition of Rape to include more things

It was simple RAPE - Forcing someone to have sex with out consent
We have slightly changed it to - FORCING OR COERCING someone into having sex without IMPLICIT consent
Now we want to make it - - FORCING OR COERCING someone into having sex without IMPLICIT *INFORMED* consent

I don't think any one objects to any of those definitions as being morally incorrect
but are they still the same thing . ..still rape?

    The future is interesting
You will probably need a consent form to fill out before each date
and then a check list for during the date

It absolutely is rape if the woman said the man must use a condom and he took it off without her knowing.
