My first listen through was meh..just a quick listen with mp3 and low volume....but i just went through it again with higher quality(FLAC 24/48) and playing at higher volume on my Klipsch Forte's and i'm definitely enjoying it. In a way, they sound like they could fit right into several of their past albums. You hear more guitar for sure which is a good step forward..or back to the old technically mixed with their post Fragile sound. I dig it.

To add... Unfortunately even Trent's music isn't protected from overproduction.. That's why vinyl is back.. Hesitation Marks for example has almost double the range in vinyl and tons less distortion/loudness wars http://dr.loudness-war.info/album/list?album=hesitation+marks

CD was a great format until the record execs loved distortion :) (starting around ~95) fortunately vinyl typically isn't overproduced and with a decent audio setup it's clear. Thanks, execs... I'll put up with vinyl until execs get back to quality :(

Anyway the whole NIN catalog is coming to vinyl on their online store, I can't wait to rip to FLAC/lossless.

On a side note, if you like their/his music catch them on tour, pretty great show and production

Still waiting on my limited edition vinyl of this that I pre-ordered to arrive.

This is the reason I pre-ordered The Fragile reissue on Vinyl. Some songs had upwards of 30 tracks layered ontop of one another.

Yes, exactly!!! I can't wait for it man, ordered mine in December. I'm so stoked for it :) I really think the Fragile is underrated, really great songs throughout the whole album, and one of my favorites, although I'm biased w/ NIN :)

I am going to order a few more from the re-release of the vinyls from their site, also check your email (it came yesterday I think), 20% off your next order from their site. The email was pretty entertaining too, all caps since Trent was so pissed w/ the delays.

Haha, it might have been Trent typing it too, since he seems pretty damn involved, but even if it wasn't, still a good time imagining him yelling at the company's holdups on the release.

Anyone get a chance to listen to the new ADD VIOLENCE EP? I like it much more than Not the Actual Events.

They put 2 of the 5 songs on their YouTube channel
