That was the sloppiest game they've played in a while. And they still won by four runs. With Mike Fiers on the bump. hahahahaha.
I bought an Astros snap-back a couple years ago that has been in my cap rotation ever since. I justify my purchase because the colors look great and I'm from Houston. It is still one of my favorite hats even with the rise in popularity of "dad hats". I should mention I bought that hat when the Astros weren't very good. So in a way... by the process of osmosis... carry the 1 and... I've been here the whole time! In cap spirit! Astros 3-0 since I started front-running,
I like Seattle's chances at getting that 2nd WC spot. They are the second best team in this division by a good margin imo.
That's 11 in a row for the Astros, who improve to 42-16 -- including 22-6 on the road. The 7-8-9 hitters drove in six runs in the 7-3 win over the Royals. Here's a great number from ESPN Stats & Info: Houston's bottom three hitters are batting .285 and slugging .502 on the season -- that's better than the MLB average for 3-4-5 hitters (.265/.459). Yes, the Astros are good. David Schoenfield, ESPN Senior Writer
I actually felt it in my loins that he was gonna hit a HR there. Did you guys hear the announcer? After the botched double play - "This Astros team is really good at capitalizing on mistak... YULI HITS IT WAY BACK!"
