You guys don't even know **** about TOR relays. I know real computer geeks that go to sleep at night dreaming about diodes and sensors. I see them build machines and I freak the **** out. These people know things that will only make them richer as the world gets more and more connected via the Internet.
Tor relays are simply the gate keepers of the Onion network. They route all of the traffic and users display the IP information of the relays they pass through, keeping their actual IP address private. All middle and exit relays are broadcast to the entire Onion network. Bridges are simply used to help circumvent ISP filters in countries like China. They are relays that don't broadcast out to the entire Tor network.
You don't even have to go to the Deep Web to see some **** that shouldn't be hosted online... Somebody posted a thread on Reddit asking about the darkest subreddits... People were posting links to: doggy p*rn, satanism, strange photoshopped monstrosities, and mentioned "C P". Never again.
Yeah, Deep Web is worse. Next season's True Detective should focus on it or something, it's dark ****.
Yup. In the name of training in computer security, I've visited some deep and dark places hidden behind layers of proxies. Its about some of the most twisted people and subjects known to man.
A redditor shared a GIF he says he got from his friend who ventures into said deep web. Well it's of a dog who's nonchalantly just laying down and out of no where a guy busts him in the head with a shovel and the dog starts spitting out blood and the guy continues beating him. As an animal lover, this really made me sad and I had to get away from the Internet for the rest of the day. It took a while to get that GIF out of my head. I cannot help but conclude that the deep Web is for psychos.
It was very traumatizing for me. I think i may have shed a tear. You know how they say "well, that's enough Internet for me". I never thought I say that but I did on that instance.
7 billion people in the world. That means tens of millions of them are probably pretty ****ty, and millions are flat out ****ty.
I am pretty sure there's more psychos out there than what most of us can imagine..and the stuff they do and think of...we couldn't even dare describe. What do we do with those kind of people? put them on an island?
