Agree, big bets are on the runline but keep sprinkling the moneyline for ***** and giggles and stupid parlays...just can't help myself on this run.
Really bad at embedding tweets but David Schoenfield just had a great one: "Houston's bottom three hitters are batting .285 and slugging .502 on the season -- that's better than the MLB average for 3-4-5 hitters (.265/.459). Yes, the Astros are good."
They just said taken out due to a hand issue. I saw him slide into 2nd (feet first, hand trailing behind) and immediately thought he might have hurt his UCL, but I'm also a little paranoid about that since I've done it. Then he went to 3rd the same way and grabbed the hand again. Then was benched.
Hinch said it was his left hand stemming from his slide to third. Not sure where the UCL issue is coming from. Edit: I take it UCL is unrelated to MCL and ACL? No clue haha
Greatest Astros SS (defensively) in the heezy tonight. Only Astro SS to play in the World Series?... until later this year
He first grabbed his hand on the slide to 2nd. But yes. UCL = thumb ligament that is often injured as a result of sliding. I'm speculating my worry (not thinking it's a guarantee at all) based on my experience, but have zero medical info on Marwin to justify it.
