i think that's a bit optimistic. The correa ball was probably only 1 out, and Lance lost his control that inning. Part of the reason Beltre got that 2nd call was because Lance missed his spot badly and McCann had to move across the zone. (it was still close and not an obvious strike IMO) If Lance had the same control he had earlier in the game, he'd have been able to work around the error, or at least limit the damage.
