I love how they talk about it as fact that we are stealing signs. Then, you speculate further on that is they don't do this. we have an unfair advantage, and this is why we are winning. Meanwhile, Correa chalks it up to not seeing the ball very well last night. It's an accusation at this point. It's unproven. But, they KNOW we are doing this. And, they are playing baseball the right way and not doing this. Sounds like #fakenews. Is that why Gomez was so ready to fight the Astros when the benches cleared last time...cause he knew we were stealing signs and was upset?
Is stealing signs frowned upon? I thought it was just part of the game. Isn't that why everyone goes to so much trouble to disguise their signs, because everyone else is trying to steal them.
My understanding is that its part of the game, and calling it out is bush league. If the Rangers are so worried about that happening all game they are going to get spanked.
It would be if it were done using technical means (hidden cameras, ear pieces and such) even though it would amount to the same thing (except it could theoretically occur for every pitch). BTW, do we know for certain this doesn't occur?
