    I just noticed this . Maybe the fact the umpire is at least 6'7" is effecting his strike zone .

    He was towering over aoki
    But he's a good head taller than springer too and George is 6'3"

    He's getting down into position for pitches. Umps function in all shapes and sizes. This dude just isn't good, at least today
