Jeff Allen Story- Got to spend some time around him within past few weeks and had some cool tidbits to share. If those were wondering, he is actually a really great guy. His mean persona is all fake(came from the horses mouth) and its his way of getting amped for the game. "He hates JJ Watt"(Playing him while with KC he manifested a hate to get up for the games against JJ and it hasn't left him) "Team loves BOB" "Deshaun is the real deal" BOB has created his own verbiage outside of the Patriots system and it is regarded as "Chinese" by the players The house he bought, is designated for an elevator to be put in. His knees, ankles etc are already gone. Just thought I would share guys. Have a wonderful weekend.
They are quite deep there as well. McKinney, Cushing, Cunningham, Peters & Dylan Cole (who I think is an upgrade of Bullough)
I know that they will be doing everything they can to win as many games as they can this year but I still can't help but worry about what happens if they have one of those years like 2013 where almost everything goes wrong. You'd end up having a new coach and a new system without a high first and second round pick. That would be brutal. Let's pray that they win at least 8 games or so and that Watson shows some real flashes whether that be in practice or games.
I know a lot of people who were high on him when he was drafted but he's fallen on hard times it seems and he can't stay in any one place for any amount of time. Perhaps RAC and Vrabel can get him to realize some of that potential he was once thought to have, if so, this could be a very underrated signing.
Seems like he hasn't been the same since the hip injury. Hopefully he's another step closer to a truly full recovery. Talent is/was there. That plus the defensive coaches here make me feel good about his chances.
Just don't see where he would get snaps. Is will fuller officially a bust? If not maclin would be nothing more than a backup receiver here and I doubt he wants that
Well I think he could hold down a spot as a slot guy here since I'm not sure Braxton Miller or anyone else really has a hold on that job. I'm sure Maclin is looking for more money than we'd pay him, but it was just a thought.
He has played all over, but he's been most effective in the slot and at this point in his career he's at best a #2 guy. If you had Maclin in the slot with Nuk and Fuller on the outside, that's a lot to cover. That said, without a QB in Houston it would probably be hard to get him on board.
Also, while last season was kind of a bust due to injury, the season before that 6 of his 8 TD receptions were with him in the slot.
