I wish. It would be the only little world I live in that Trump isn't trying to **** all over.

man you are one sick puppy.

i spent 5 years trying to understand the right's point of view...by defending it. it definitely helped.

you guys aren't the right though...the right's position makes sense to me.

I can see the logic in supply-side. I can see the logic in a strong military. I can see the logic in being anti-affirmative action or being pro-life.

what isn't logical is denying climate science for political reasons...calling respected media outlets as fake news, denying the the Trump-Russia connections are concerning (many republicans are very concerned), and much of the other blatant lies you and others embrace.

you have never once looked at the opposing side, and have always towed the right wing sean hannity line. yet you say others live in an echo chamber....

honestly extreme right who buy into fake news is more accurate...and the loony ones who pretend to be in the middle (like bobby).

you got cml, bigtexxx, space ghost, bandwagoner, tallnover, RL, ace, mojo man, c. rojo, astrodome, rocketman1981, commodore...and a few others

all of these guys do not bother to even look at the other side. they tow the most extreme positions and attack anyone who disagrees with them and view liberals as the enemy

With all due respect, you have too high opinion of yourself. I didn't mention you by name, but if you wish to toss yourself into the group, which makes up less than half the electorate that voted in 2016, who believe anything Mr. trump and his cohorts say, who is a climate change denier, who thinks, like trump, that we should gut the EPA, slash State Department funding over the objections of the leaders of our military, who understand the importance of diplomacy and foreign aid, even if you, those like you, and trump, of course, think slashing that budget is just groovy, if you belong with those who could care less that trump promised during the campaign not to touch Medicaid, and then slashed hundreds of billions of dollars in Medicaid funding in his budget, if you think, like trump, that it is a good idea to slash funding for basic scientific research, which has helped allow the United States to have the technical edge she has enjoyed these last several decades... hey, I could go on.

To summarize, if you actually agree with all that, and much else, then sure, own it. Mr. trump is obviously making you and those like you happy. Revel in your ignorance. I will continue to disagree with you and those like you. As for my ignore list, do you honestly think that my mentioning it is "bragging?" How confused you are. Enjoy your confusion. I want you to get something out of trump going whole hog trying to destroy our most important alliances, trying to destroy our scientific leadership that has played such an important role in maintaining the world stature enjoyed by this country since long before you were born. You need to get a thrill out of leaving tens of millions of Americans without insurance, or else insurance so expensive that they have no hope of paying the premiums. Get your thrills. I don't doubt that trump makes you happy. They say ignorance is bliss. Well, those like you are reveling in your ignorance. So thump your chest and own what trump is doing. Someday, you may even wake up and realize just how wrong you have been. I hope so, but I will not be holding my breath. I'll add that I hope you are rich, so you can get the full "benefit" of trump's fiscal madness. Cheers.

No you fool. I do care about your opinion. I wouldn't waste my time on you otherwise. Geez. You just don't get it.

Here's the difference - you dismiss everything we say without consideration. Some of us dismiss what you say after consideration and finding the logical holes in it. Yes there are some on the left on here who just pound an agenda much the way those on the right do.

I know the anger you feel towards liberals. I felt it too when I was New Yorkers - the arrogance of many posters - the dismissal of arguments and mockery without consideration. It made me angry, and at times I felt ganged-up on. I really argued conservative points of view with logic and passion and I started realizing that there was validity in many of those points of view.

I can deal with intelligent logical discussion. What I can't stand though is slogan debating which is just about scoring punches and yes it happens on both sides. But it's happening a lot more on the right by far right now.

Does he think he was expressing "free speech" in killing two men? Or that their deaths were the consequences of his "free speech" of yelling at two minority girls on public transit?

I'm still a conservative, although much more moderate than my younger years. I've pretty much voted Republican straight ticket since 1994 with the exception of voting for Bill White over Rick Perry (and this past election, obviously). But Trumps idiotic rise to power has definitely made me question everything I believe in politically. How can I in good conscience support a party that would let this happen? Donald freakin' Trump is the POTUS! I mean, WTF?? I literally can't stop shaking my head at this. I've been doing it perpetually since November.....

The Republican party tried very hard to cut Trump out. They support Cruz over Trump. Do you not remember the whole RNC fiasco? There is only so much one can do when the voters allow Clinton and Trump rise to the top.

Still unacceptable IMO even though I understand WHY it happened. When you have 17 or whatever candidates for the nomination, it opens the door for a bad candidate to win. Hopefully Trump won't run for re-election and the Republicans can put forth a legit candidate this time because I highly doubt the Democrats will pick a candidate as awful as Hillary Clinton again and that's the ONLY reason Trump won.

Hillary was a horrible candidate in the sense that the GOP aligned their sights on her for two decades because it was obvious that she was going to be eventually the DNC candidate thus political hit piece after political hit piece to the point where majority of people who think that Hillary is '100x worse' than Donald ****ing Trump only have platitudes and emails and can't pinpoint why she's as worse or worse than Trump.

They don't care that Hillary actually understands the nuances of our bureaucracy. They don't care that she is a workaholic who loves reading and is always far more prepared. They don't care that she would never place herself in a position where the Chinese president has to explain to her the nuances of North Korea. They don't care about the things that make someone capable of managing the world's largest bureaucracy.

clinton was a bad candidate but she would have made a competent president. Reality is she just doesn't have the Charisma to be a leader.

The blame is on the Republican Party. It's their fault. 100%. They are the ones who funded the tea party early on in the Obama presidency and championed hyper-partisanship . they promtoed the lies of his birth certificate and unleashed the genie from the bottle. They started something they could not contain.

Time to stop blaming liberals and take responsibility.

She's never been competent in any role she's ever been in, so I find your comment to be completely absurd.
