Wife and I were curious about going to this, never been. Just curious, are the "fancy pants" tickets worthwhile? When do they typically list which artist are playing which day?
I am going to sound like an old dude here, but what is up with band names these days? Milky Chance? Portugal. the man? Terrible names. I pine for the good old days of bands like Dayglo Abortions, Napalm Death, and John Cougar Concentration Camp. Those are band names. Not Hurray for the Riff Raff.
Small Craft Advisory, Skatenigs, Geto Boys, Sprawl, Planet Shock, Hightailers...Houston had good band names.
id like to think im someone who does a decent job of keeping up with current music, but there is only one band on there im familiar with...the shins. ive heard bits of lorde, cage the elephant, solange and portugal the man. the rest of the bill is bands ive never heard of. i know nothing about strumbellas, but for some reason their name makes me automatically hate them. i bet they are some lame twee indie band. four-on-the-floor tired dance beat with synths and a skinny white hipster vocalist...possibly bearded. quantity over quality seems to be the norm with music festivals these days. spend some money on some decent headliners yall!
I can't wait to turn fifteen so I can slay dudes and do Molly poppers at this festival with my clique of fidget spinning finger bangers
Complete garbage lineup. And if it rains like it did last year, they hold it at the NRG parking lot... for THAT lineup I wouldn't go if they paid me for it.
Lol with all this rain coming down again today........ I'm sure they are already thinking about moving it to NRG parking lot.
seems like the price of entry and my interest level in the acts move steadily in the opposite direction each year
