    He was fine then, clearly.

When he felthe was starting to get loopy he responsible pulled over and decided to take a nice little napsy.

    Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Considering he was unable to properly move his car onto the shoulder and make sure the engine was off and call someone for help, he was clearly not fine at some point while behind the wheel.

Bad reaction? Is that what it's called when you overdose on Vicodin?

Well yeah, he won't get anything beyond that. I took Vicodin after surgery and it whipped me out, I don't believe he ODd, probably just underestimated and it hit him hard.

Doesn't excuse the DUI, but it is understandable and a minor offense.

I'm sure he has a lot of experience taking Vicodin. He's had many surgeries. It says right on the bottle how many to take.

I've taken Vicodin myself, so I know how it feels. My guess is that he took more than the prescribed amount and passed out. This is how people die taking this medication. It happens numerous times everyday.

Tiger got lucky he didn't kill himself or someone else.

I dunno on just vicodin (but everyone's different), but if he was used to it... It might have been another rx on top of it, or since he's had so many surgeries he's been upped to the better stuff. Obviously people can od on vicodin (not trying to argue there), but taking 4 vs the 2 on the bottle isn't going to do this to a regular user. There's some addicts out there doing crazy amounts giving the med a bad name for people who need it though.. Like addicts taking 50-100 mg's at a time after removing the Tylenol and still functioning, or some that don't care about the Tylenol and killing their livers.

Also definitely not arguing on seriousness of taking too much, just meant he had to be taking a lot

No dispute on that, just saying that he won't face any real consequences because no one was hurt, and he was not caught actually driving (Though obviously he was).

It will be a slap on the wrist, some community service and done.

I agree with that. I think it would be a good thing if Tiger could maybe tell his story to help others. We don't know exactly what happened yet, but looking at the police report it looks like Vicodin is the only medication that Tiger admitted to taking that could have caused the problems. Maybe Tiger can turn a negative into a positive.

After watching the video, I wonder what he was on, it had to be something strong as hell given that an athlete with the history of surgeries that Tiger has had would likely have a ridiculous tolerance to pain meds so I don't see something like Vicodin alone getting him that faded unless he took just a ton of it.

Anyway, these kinds of things happen and it's good that no one was hurt.

I just really hope that he doesn't have a pill addiction or anything of that nature.

He's had real back issues for several years now. Its hard seeing someone like that and getting addicted to hard pills like that is not difficult to do.

decent essay in the NYTimes this morning. "Tiger Woods isn’t winning golf tournaments anymore, but it’s not because he has lived some wild life. It’s because he got old. It happens to everyone. Even him."
