The agreement was about smog? I thought it was on CO2. Please link. I am in 100% support of the clean air act.

    So....he has no plan again?

Cool. Just tear down someone else's plan. No backup plan, no plan b, just whining until other people are dissatisfied as well. Great job awesome wow.

It's pretty interesting how few people are even attempting to discuss the actual issue here especially among our friends on the left. We're getting cartoons and empty rhetoric (which is often unrelated) instead of anything of substance.

After 15 pages it seems clearly obvious that there is no point in debating someone that is so idealogical that even science, facts, and economic ingenuity are rejected even when they will obviously impact your kids and your kids kids negatively.

So yes bring on the funny pics. At the very least we can have a sense of humor about the end of the United States as we knew it.

Cool story bro, but it's pretty divorced from reality. Make an attempt to discuss the actual issue and we'll see how it goes.

It wouldn't bother me even in trumpspeak if he says we're funding a "worldwide" agreement. Instead we're going to use our money on solar farms in America. Oh. Ok. Good idea.

Instead it's another obama did something I didn't like. Nobody take a wild stab at how this is going to benefit my pocketbook.

"Coal plants are the nation’s top source of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, the primary cause of global warming. In 2011, utility coal plants in the United States emitted a total of 1.7 billion tons of CO2. A typical coal plant generates 3.5 million tons of CO2 per year.

Burning coal is also a leading cause of smog, acid rain, and toxic air pollution."

Cleaning up some of the things that create CO2 will also help reduce smog and other air pollution. So, to me, the Paris agreement was about more than just CO2.

Well, there is one world leader that stands to benefit (and is happy with today's Trump decision)...

Climate change doubters may not be so silly, says Russia President Putin

You just had to know Trump was simply following orders...

We knew the tin foil hat type conspiracy theories were coming.....it's just par for the course from people like you lately. I really hope you don't expect anyone to take you seriously.

Russians don't give a flying **** about climate change. They peddle fossil fuels and a warmer earth would make Siberia livable and farmable.

It's funny that the Paris Accord isn't even enforceable. It's just a gentleman's promise without any real teeth.

Trump being Trump by doing nothing but rejecting Obama's deeds, especially the superficial ones. I guess that's good enough for some people and their petty lives.

Undoing Obama's mistakes is what got him elected to begin with. Make a coherent case for why this is a bad thing and people might listen.

That's an extremely silly justification. Unlike Europe, the USA has greatly cleaned up our air. They should be following our lead TBH.

What's the bad thing you're referring to, grumpy old man? That Trump does the opposite of Obama without solving the root cause or in this case, him leaving a purely symbolic agreement that took decades for every major country to sign?
