(Ticketmaster) Ms. Lauryn Hill and Nas Coming to Sugarland

    Has anyone purchased tickets to the Ms. Lauryn Hill and Nas show yet? Just curious if the service fee seems ridiculous to anyone or if that's par for the course for Ticketmaster. I haven't bought concert tickets through them for awhile now and when I went to purchase tickets, the ticket price listed was $61 and the service fee was $91!!!!!!!!!!!

    Does that seem excessive to anyone? I didn't see the total until I hit "confirm" and by then it was too late.

    Not going to see Ms Hill and Nas, but did buy tickets to two shows the past two months from ticketmaster. The first was a $35 ticket the other was a $35 ticket on sale for $20. By the time all the fees were added on both tickets ended up costing the same price.

    I been to one concert at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land. I have to give them credit for seating. To me the seats seemed bigger and I had plenty of leg room compared to other places in the Houston area.

    I was able to get a refund. I found tickets a few rows back for $131 less on Stubhub.

    I went to her show last time she came to Houston. It was in the Verizon theater or wtv its called.
    She started late and then cut the show early cuz the sound wasn't right for her. She kept yelling at her band to get the sound right..
    seems like she was in a bad mood.

    I love Lauryn Hill . .. I truly think she is a blessed artist and her music is timeless and speaks to me
    but
    Because of isht like this. . . I will never buy a ticket to her shows

    I don't know IF she will show
    I don't know IF she will be in a good mood
    I don't know IF she will be anywhere near on time .

    Too much money for so many IFs

    She is always in a bad mood..thats the problem real problem here i think. She has a really crap attitude.

    There was a while there where she ruled and was pretty damn sexy doing it.

    Something happened and she disappeared mostly. I dont understand why she hasnt put anything else out or utilized her voice. She never really branded herself and it seems that is what you need to do. She can sing i dont know why there arent cuts of her doing xmas songs even.

    She is classic if she had lived to be 27 like cobain winehouse etc then croaked she would be legend.
    She didnt croak and got even more bitter. At least she hasnt gained 100 lbs.

    I think its time and talent wasted i wish she would freaking sing something. Why all the talents arent lining up to do songs with her is beyond me. She makes kelly clarkson look like dog **** yet that is what I hear at cvs.. not lauryn.
    I still love lauryn even though she doesnt like white people and im white. Blind love
