This is why I said shortly after the election Trump would be a one-term president, max. There is no way he will want to endure another grueling campaign for a job he would hate. Those of you who think a worn out, beat down 74 year-old Trump can do it again are delusional. If he tries, he'd be lucky to last beyond NH in the GOP primary.
You have not been paying attention Trump's first 100 days does not have a lot of accomplishments (to be fair, this is more on the wildly incompetent Republican Congress than him) and his approval rating is at record lows. Yet Trump has been claiming that he is the most successful President ever. I fully expect that Trump will boast that the country really is tired of winning and it is his time to move on.
when it comes to looks, body shape and personality i think there is only one person who could take that role. and salacious crumb is a dead ringer for kelly anne conway.
There are so many tards in this thread I don't know where to begin. Enjoy the next 8 years of your miserable lives under the " tyranny " of Mr Trump. I have offered you guys free advice after the election but you chose to go a different route. Don't blame me if you all have gone full r****d.
My coworker made an interesting point: Trump is going to want to have one good, solid win before going out. If he can sign some legislation on healthcare or tax reform or immigration or other big idea, then he'll have what he needs to point to -- "I was run out by all the crooked liars, but I still managed to get passed the greatest piece of landmark legislation ever which has made America great again."
i see dumpy resigning. he will say that he accomplished everything he wanted to do in four months and he is going to step aside. he is the most successful president in history. he will blame the media and democrats, start his own tv network and give o'reilly a job.
Putin's useful idiot wouldn't be there to witness the GOP losing seats in the 2018 Congressional elections. Agent Orange will either quit or be fired before that
I really think Trump relishes this stuff especially conflict He isn't losing anything including respect from people he never had or never will have
Y'all really have to stop thinking like yourselves and think like him when discussing things like this You continue to underestimate him Edit: Trump's biggest strength in terms of winning is not caring about what people who will never vote for him think about him
Except that he is the president of all of the United States and not just those that voted for him. He has to govern from them (the majority) too.
Trump won't resign unless it becomes clear he will be impeached and convicted. Very doubtful that happens. He will be a one-term president, not run for re-election and become completely irrelevant once the lame-duck congress closes for Christmas in late 2018. That session may be one of the most productive in history.
The people that think Trump will just say I've had enough and quit don't know Donald Trump very well. Trump will just change the presidency into something that he feels more at home with. Everything he does is about "winning". If you don't win by the rule book, you throw the rule book out and make your own rules until you are "winning". This is who Trump is, and how he's always been. He's too old and narcissistic to do it any other way. The rules of the presidency have never been tested the way that Trump will be testing them in the near future. Let's hope that our institutions can withstand what is about to come their way. Starting with the firing of Robert Mueller, and the deputy AG which I predict will both be replaced if they fly too close to the Sun with this Russian investigation. If you think you've seen Trump at his worst and most authoritarian now, I think you haven't seen anything yet. We are in for a long 3 1/2 years guys.
