Its based on correlation of attendance vs winning %. The Jazz have been very good for a very long time. They were bad the last 3 or 4 years and the attendance dipped. It didn't dip that much, but it correlated with their winning percentage.
The start of game 6 was so embarrassing. I can't recall any other stadium being that empty at tip off. People used to talk about Miami Heat fans showing up late, but our fanbase is much worse IMO.
Honestly, that showing was just pathetic. I don't get it. Maybe they need to start lying to the fans about start time?
