I just bumped into Steve Francis today in Toronto, he was doing a short appearance for an All Star center court event.

It was really strange, he wouldn't respond to his name when I called to him, he seemed really out of it. I finally got his attention and asked to take a picture with him, he's like "sure" and he for some reason took out his own phone and give it to his friend to take the picture. Everyone was really confused. So yeah Steve Francis now has a picture of me on his phone ??

anyway, he was actually really nice, he took a picture with me and signed my hat too, but man that was weird. He did look pretty skinny and out of it. I hope he's going alright.

 

Him taking the picture on his phone sounds like he trolled you, acting like you were the celebrity.....

if not....maybe he is really out of it mentally.

Felt nostalgic and been watching some old Franchise highlights....was he really 6'3"?

Russell Westbrook is supposed to be 6'3 but he looks so big for a PG today while Steve Francis looked like a little guy around 6ft tall to 6'1 at best. Either Russell is much taller than listed or Francis is much shorter than listed, because Francis with his 43" vertical jump looks like a struggle to get up and dunk while Westbrook with his 36.5" vertical (6.5" less is insane) looks like he gets to the rim so fast and effortlessly. Maybe Russ just has a much longer wingspan that makes it look like he gets to the dunk faster than Francis with his trex arms?

Franchise looks so tiny compared to Russ on camera:

 

Steve Francis had a 41" vertical

He was very strong as well

His first two years of in game dunks were crazy

 

And his next 4 years of trying and failing to run a fast break drove me crazy..

 

I met Francis in person and he's not 6'3....
