I'd trade all that in for more Tyrion, Littlefinger, Varys, Stark/Lannister action, 100 percent. Are they going to give Tyrion some decent dialogue this season? Jesus.
Not much to say about the content of the previews. But I did notice that the "long walk" preview 'borrowed' a camera shot directly from the movie Brazil when showing Dani. I won't jump to conclusions about her fate being related to that of Sam Lowry or anything. They probably just liked the camera shot because it was cool and took it for their own.
I'm nerd enough to follow the websites watchersonthewall.com and winteriscoming.net; apparently Tyrion gets in some of the best dialogue this year. Last season was an off year for Tyrion, no doubt. They also have said the filming and production were as involved this season as last season. There are only 7 episodes this season and 6 the next (last). I'm hoping for longer-than-normal episodes, but they won't say if this is or isn't the case. Best not to get my hopes up.
Crosses fingers (Please kill off Dany, please kill off Dany, please kill off Dany) Knows it won't happen.
It's got to be more action, obviously, but I am not sure more action means it will rise high above all the other seasons. Cersei on the throne is a joke lmao.
I like the way you think. I could be smug over the show watchers for them not going through the books, and smug over the book readers because I had the wisdom to walk away at the peak. I aborted the John Carter series after the 3rd or 4th book (whichever was the last one with Carter as the main character). But the difference there is JC's story was completed; nothing is final by the end of Storm of Swords. And, damn, SoS was good...
It's still possible to asspull a "guess" that's really a spoiler or reference to the books. You'll get extra smug creds for pulling it off.
Shouldn't have clicked that. Didn't show too much but would still rather be surprised. Didn't catch some of that stuff.
