show is moving very very slow. 2 episodes of the exact same thing. introducing the different gods without telling the audience what is going on. I don't know how long the book is, but it feels like its being dragged out.
Been a while since I read it, but I seem to remember that the whole book is sort of a slow reveal. There are lot of mysteries that get teased out, even once the action starts going.
I think they can stretch it for 2 seasons . . . TOPS anything more than that and it will be a complete snorefest I wonder will they be deviating from the book Rocket River
I watched the first two episodes last night. They were a bit trippy especially the first episode. I haven't read the books, but I generally give anything with Ian McShane in it a chance. If they do not do some sort of small reveal I feel I may lose interest soon.
Well, let me just say there are some potential reveals and McShane will be given more to do. As for the show itself, this Brian Fuller guy's visual style is throwing me off a bit. That weird jump to space last episode was a little jarring. It reminded me of that scene in Always Sunny where a turtle flies in outer space. Otherwise, I'm generally happy with what they've done so far. 8 more episodes to see if this a keeper.
so far the show has just introduced a dozen characters that you don't know who they are or their motivation. Its been 4 episodes of this.
heheheheheheehehehheeee I really don't like the Dead Wife she is one of the must unlikable characters on tv Rocket River
the was the end of the season? nothing happened. No story arch for the entire season. Almost every character's motives have not been explained.
