That also puts her above the age of consent in North Carolina, which is 16. In addition, she and her family were also not Clinton supporters, as the girl claimed in a letter published by BuzzFeed, according to social media posts unearthed by the website. I'm skeptical. Weiner just plead guilty on this case. I think the FBI would have ascertained her age when they brought charges. Her age may not even matter. Weiner believed she was 15, he said, and he did it anyway. Also, the intimation that a teenager (and maybe her parents!) would engage in an amateur sexting sting to destroy political enemies is pretty out there. Finally, TheHill and WhoWhatWhy are not brands I put much trust in. So, I'm going to file this one in the trash can until the NY Times picks it up.

I'm not sure I'm subscribing to what WhoWhatWhy is selling us here, but either way, Weiner is still a perv either way, and if its true that this was essentially a far right household engaging in this type of behavior to get at Hillary, then its just a sign of how toxic the political culture has become in this culture. I don't know how much voters really cared about Hillary's assistant's ex husband though, but on the far right they will chase after anything I guess. If you know anyone that works in Washington it doesn't take much to hear about the disgusting old men who think they are Dirk Diggler behind closed doors. The Weiners in DC aren't really that uncommon to those I know who work in DC. Congress and the PGA Tour. That's the two professions I hear about the most that have the worst perversions.
