    They don't need to.
They make a killing during the week.
Prob helps that people crave it but can only go during the week.

I've eaten just about every burger. Other than frozen ones you heat in a microwave, never had a bad-tasting one.

Never had bad-tasting french fries either,

I mean, I live close to this place but work out in Humble. So I'd literally never have a chance to go there unless I took the day off of work. It's not like they'd lose money by being open after 4:30pm or at least one day on the weekend. It's whatever, though, there are plenty of good burger places in the loop.

You see, that's strange. Because I think In-N-Out Fries are FAR AND AWAY the best. And it's not even remotely close. (Those cajun fries at Five Guys are nice though)

Also, most people go in ordering their burger with the Thousand Island that comes on an In-N-Out. Huge mistake. Double/Double with Mustard all the way.

It must suck to be someone who can't enjoy multiple burger places. I love In-N-Out and Whataburger. Can you ****ing believe it?

That said, I've never had a subpar experience at In-N-Out. Whataburger can suck.

Having a "staycation" this weekend. We're going to be downtown, but will be out and about throughout the inner loop. Where should I go to get the best burger I've ever had? Mind you, I'm a burger purist... I don't really go for the "topped with 4 other types of meat and a fried egg!" type burgers.

Just a good patty, good bun, and fresh fixings is all I'm really into when I go burger hunting. I've done Lankford Grocery (excellent) and Bubba's Burger Shack (great, but I love fries w/ my burger). I live in the Woodlands, so I've had Hubbel & Hudson's burger, too (awesome).

We were thinking about hitting up Bernie's Burger Bus, as that seems to be getting all the press as the "best" burger in town. Any other suggestions?? I am trying to avoid chain restaurants, too. I want some "made in Houston" sh*t.

It's probably been mentioned here, but I didn't want to look thru 16 pages to find it. Miller's is always a really good burger. Whenever I get a chance I tried to pick one up. They're pretty consistent in quality. Try it. http://www.millerscafehouston.com/locations.html

Not tasteless, just a bunch of fanboys and hipsters who shamelessly support certain fast food restaurants even though they likely enjoy them all.

When it comes to burgers -- In-N-Out, Five-guys, Whataburger, Smash burger, Burger-fi, Becks Prime, Fudruckers, etc. They're all good spots, imo. Even better if you smoke a fat blunt before you partake.

Stupid question, is the burgerfi logo photoshopped in, or do they burn that in to every burger?

Doesn't matter, looks like there is one in the houston area, woodlands. I'm always disappointed with high end fancy burger places vs. when typical fast food gets it right, but the next time I'm in the woodlands I'm going to make sure I'm hungry, and have one of those. Even if it's a case of over hyping the descriptive words and that photo. Beautiful, either way

The logo is actually branded/burned onto the bun when served. Really nice touch. The burgers are great especially the CEO burger I posted above. I know what you mean by fancy vs. fast-food. My preference is Whataburger on most days, but I like to mix it up when I want to treat myself. Nothing like a nice wagyu brisket patty that melts in your mouth!

They should really have a price function as five guys and Shake Shack are like $13 for a Burger, fries and drink.
If incorporating value Whataburger, In n Out and Steak n Shake reign supreme. Under $5-$6 for a fresh made burger, fries
    and drink.

McDonalds, Wendys and the rest are all nasty.
