I will still wait for the directors cut . . . unless my son wants to see it

I also didn't like Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. Thought he did a poor job and the role was poorly cast. And I didn't like the story flow in BvS

... HOWEVER... I very much like the extended BvS movie. The story flow was much better.

Really could careless about Whedon finishing up, just feel horrible for the Synders.

Whatever you think of him as a director, it's a heartbreaking situation and it sounds like they tried to just dive into the work but just couldn't do it.

Really can't blame them, apparently the suicide happened a couple of weeks ago.

    Agreed.

I just didn't know if the story was legit, usually you guys hop on these updates quickly. I didn't even hear about his daughter's death until my wife sent me this story's link.

Can't imagine what they must be going through... and can't imagine trying to actually push through that and manage a bunch of actors and producers while that's at the forefront of your mind. Terrible news all around.

Not a fan of Whedon. Would prefer someone else, but whoever it is, their task is finishing Snyder's work so not sure it matters.

To be honest, they both have their faults and strengths. With Whedon, maybe he's too hamstrung by the PG-13 comic book world.

In any case, it's an awful situation for Snyder and I wish him well. We can blithely speak about the films and the directors but his situation must be some kind of personal hell. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything else, let alone work.

McHale worked. I guess different people handle it differently.

Didn't he break down on court after we played the Celtics into Kevin Garnett's arms.

I guess you're right, people ARE different!

I give him credit. I'd be near comatose, I think. But I hope I never have to find out first hand.

People would have liked Luthor better if the film made it more obvious that he was playing an entirely new version of Lex and is now Lex Luthor Jr.

I mean I still hate that type portrayal personally.

Majority of film is finished. Whedon is just directing the reshoots and minor post-production stuff. Don't be fooled this is a Zach Snyder project.

Watched the movie after theaters and knew about this going in, still hated both the character and the casting. Easily the worst part of the movie for me.

In general I dislike the whiny millennial daddy issue direction they went with it and don't get why they thought that would be a clever re-imagining of one of the top supervillains of all time.

Looks really good since Whedon has taken over. Wonder who's the mysterious figure in the end? Someone who takes big steps? Can't be superman because it's someone Alfred was expecting.

Was thinking it was superman but could it be nightwing or green lantern?
