the moneyline was basically 70:1 before the game? people betting on the cavs were betting for every celtics win the cavs would go on a 70 game winning streak against them? that seems absurd no matter how mismatched the teams are. if for no other reason than the better team is just going to be not trying some of the time like tonight.

For some reason I really thought it was game 6 that was just played.

Harden's "performance" must have given me PTSD lol.

Cavs are going to be playing angry next game. They won't coast again. Cavs are gonna blow out Celtics like in Games 1-2. Bank on it.

Sorry. Next two games will go like Games 1 & 2. This game was a fluke. LeBron will score 40+ the next two games and Smart is going to regress to the mean.

    It's over.

Everyone has their thing. Francis 4 Prez' thing used to be that he always felt the basketball gods were against him. It was literally every time- "it's unbelievable that.... would have a great game against MY team, of all nights..."- or whatever it was. It was this incredulous, "I can't believe how unlucky the team I root for is..."- even though the same thing probably happened to 20-25 other teams. I mean, we all think this way at times, but it was so many times with him that I even mentioned it once or twice. Then, the Cavs win it all- and now we can't use that.

Francis 4 Prez wants to have things an exact ideal way or it's very disappointing for him, where for most of us, it's maybe a little disappointing or we don't care. Nothing wrong with that. He cares about the game that way- it's all good.

I don't know if I have a thing. Oh, yeah- being a pompous ass and talking about other people's preferences when it's really none of my business. So there's that. :)

What happened was LeBron saw that his teammates had the game under control and decided it was time to rest on the court. When the lead started to slip, he decided not to take control in order to force his teammates to step up. He wanted them to be able to win without him.

LeBron let up in order to wake up the rest of the Cavs so that they don't lose edge and focus. It was a deliberate plan to light a fire under the team and prevent them from becoming complacent. He sacrificed this game so that the Cavs become stronger for the Finals.

Lol, THIS is the team that's supposed to beat GS in a 7 game series? Cavs will lose in 5 or 6.

There was a great article by Tom hasberoth on his ft routine; he's switched it up 18 time or so I believe during the season. The struggles at the line are real. I think this was his lowest FT percentage in years

The Cavs likely win Game 4, but there's no guarantee they win Game 5. This could go 6. Which means more wear and tear on the Cavs who ain't exactly a young team outside of Irving and Thompson. Plus it shortens their rest before the Finals(although they'd still get a decent amount of time off).

Guess some people just hate to hate some because they hate their lives, poor things.
