marcus smart is having a reggie miller moment. and i don't mean he's commentating a game horribly. he's made a about 4 heat-check 3's in this game. that last 3 was as forced as they come.
Proof? Stats? Are you saying TT can't out-physical Bogut? Because that's pretty obvious as Bogut is a physically bigger player than TT.
you could pretty much overlay this game with the hawks game. cavs have only gotten up 10 shots in 8 minutes of the 4th quarter, between turnovers and slow play, and absolutely no one wants to make 1. 2 for 10.
i never can tell why, but sometimes he just gets in these funks where he seems to do everything on offense like he's stuck in concrete and his brain is in a fog. he posts up by just backing someone down for 5 seconds instead of spinning, dribbling across them like he usually does. he looks for passes forever just holding the ball then just starts dribbling now that the shotclock is down. he sizes people up while dribbling then just settles for a jumper. everything is like he's overthinking the situation instead of just being aggressive. you almost think, "how does he ever put up big numbers, he can't beat anybody." and then the next game he puts up a 35 point triple double and the other team double teams him too much.
lebron having a harden moment. love missing that 3 was the most obvious thing ever. i've always said he never makes a big 3. whether it's to keep momentum going or at a big moment, he always seems to miss them. could have sealed the game and then just bricks. cavs are not going to score in this final minute and then they are going to have a lot to answer for. they were literally a 21 point lead against an opponent who had given up from the longest winning streak in playoff history.
do the cavs have the celtics moneyline? irving coming down and just jacking up that "finals game 7" three early in the shotclock when the cavs are just running horrible offense after horrible offense was so to the script. play like you mean it!
lol, lebron couldn't make an open dunk right now and you double team him on a 15 foot post-up and leave jr smith wide open for 3 up 3? wow. cavs still seem to be playing like they think they'll just win. no effort on D. look for another celtics score then i predict a lebron turnover trying to pass to kyrie for 3.
another hallmark of these types of games, not just the cavs. a semi-role player on offense like love goes crazy during the good part of the game and then practically never shoots again during the comeback (although he did just bricks the open 3 jumper).
