Smart. At this point, there's no reason to put him out there and risk anything even if he was 98%

Agreed. There is no reason to play him.
Sad. With a healthy leonard and a game 1 Victory it could have been an interesting series.

You, along with the rest of us, missed him getting "injured". Zaza has a "heel injury".

    ___________

MRI on David Lee's knee confirms he has a partially torn patella, according to his agent Mark Bartelstein. They'll take a few days to consult doctors and determine whether he needs surgery or not.

Not sure about that. They came back from 20 down to beat the Spurs without Durant at the end of the regular season. I'm certain the warriors lose game 1 if kawhi doesn't get hurt, but they could have easily ran off 4 straight after that.

I think it would've gone 6 if the Spurs had held on and won Game 1. Warriors bounce back in Game 2, they split in San Antonio, and then Golden State wins Games 5 and 6 when the absence of Parker finally catches up to the Spurs.

But now we'll never know thanks to Zaza's dirty play.

I agree. But than we would have atleast 3 games to watch that seemed interesting. Game 1.3 and 4. Now we had 1.

And we do not know what it would have done with the confidence of the warriors. Probably not enough to make it an interesting series. But it could have happened. Now we will never know.

Probably patellar tendon. Can't really apply the word "tear" to bone, iirc.

Wow. That's not just against GSW, but all 15 playoff games so far.

The NBA playoffs are essentially in the toilet. I wonder what the viewership numbers are. I would guess they are down compared to previous years. And it didn't help for some of the coaches to go on "political" rants. Fans watch sports to escape from reality. The same reason they watch movies which are down by 10%. I love the Astros, who are now beat up a bit and on a losing streak, but the Texans season can't come soon enough.
