Nope. The Rockets loss was worse. At least the Cavs were at full strength. For this game to equal the Rockets Game 6, it would be a similar beatdown but with Lebron not playing.

That's ultimately why that Rockets loss was so terrible. Both Kawhi and Parker were out and Spurs beatdown the Rockets using a guy literally making minimum NBA wage (Simmons).

Also Rockets are a much better team than the Celtics.

still had Pop on the sideline and LMA out there to drop 34 and 12...we had no one who could handle him once he got it going

Boston was down by over 40 at halftime at home, I'm sorry, but that was the most embarrassing game I've ever seen...it was like men against 8th graders

Against the defending champions with a potential GOAT player. Rockets loss was worse.

The Rockets game was sh*tty, but this game was slightly sh*ttier. It wasn't just Simmons, LMA had 34 and 12. Harden no showed, but we were 9-37 on 2 point field goals in that game. We just had nothing offensively.

So Michael jordan was 35 when he ended his chicago bulls era. Lebron james is 32.

Still got another 3 years of Prime Lebron at the minimum.

I don't see the Cavs destroying anyone else in the East like they just destroyed Boston tonight...largest halftime deficit by any team in playoff history, and they were at home

I honestly expected the Cavs to stomp the Celtics, not by this much, but at least 25 point lead by a healthy and motivated Cavs. I expected the Rockets to win without Kawhi + Parker.

I predicted a sweep as soon as the Celtics won Game 7.

This is how we would have felt if we somehow won the Spurs series. If our guys played that bad against the Warriors like we did in game 6, we might have legit lost by like 70 on national TV while everyone clowns the Rockets even harder than they did when we lost game 6.

I'm just glad that Boston is now in the running for having the most embarrassing game of the postseason

I'm glad Gordon Hayward will think twice before going to Boston.

Same here, and in fact, even if we had an embarassing last game, we were playing at the same level of the Spurs in the series, we were 2-2 and we were very close to be up 3-2...Boston is on his way to get swept with a deficit of 30 points per game, that would be absolutely embarassing.

I think what it comes down to is that Celtics are completely dependent on Thomas. Shut him down (or alternatively, he shuts himself down) and the team falls apart offensively which also leads to defensive breakdowns as the opponent goes the other way. It is why Wizards took them to 7 games. And it is why the Cavs will sweep easily.

You're absolutely right, we played the Spurs very tough for 4 games and like 90% of game 5. We blew them out twice. Boston got demolished in game 1, and then got demolished even worse in game 2. Cleveland is good, but to be down by over 40 points at halftime?? This will be an embarrassing sweep for Boston. Indy and Toronto never came close to getting worked like this.

I also think that they're scared of Lebron and knew that they had absolutely no chance of really challenging the Cavs before the series even started.

I'm pretty sure the Celtics have yet to have a lead in this series yet...2 games at home and they couldn't even manage to have the lead at any point

    celtics gotta let IT walk.

good player, great scorer, good guy, great story but you can't win with him being the best player on your team if you have championship aspirations.

he's a gimmick who should be coming off the bench like lou will.

celtics gotta get better in the front court but unfortunately for them there is no great big men in this draft.

    horford is trash as well.
