Schwartz said the president will soon look for a way out of all of his administration’s scandals. “There is no right and wrong for Trump, there’s winning and losing,” “And right now, he is in pure terror that he is going to lose.” Schwartz predicted that Trump would ultimately “lose,” but said he won’t go through an impeachment process. “I surely believe that at some point over the next period of time he’s going to have to figure out a way to resign,” "But in quitting, Trump will try to “figure out a way, as he has done all his career, to turn a loss into a victory so he will declare victory when he leaves.” “I think he’s reacting from a survival place. He did not realize running the country as the president is not the same as running his country, people do not follow his command or get fired. He is in way over his head now, but if he wishes to, he can still last this term IMO. I think some of his advisers could be charged, I still do not see it get to him because he can always claim he did not know it.
I think for his own ego he needs to offer Trumpers some plausible deniability. I think the best he's going to be able to do is to say he was the victim of a witch hunt and the fat cats of the Deep State and the Liberal Media were out to get him because he threatened their power by bringing real reform. He still goes out a loser that way, defeated by the Deep State, but maybe it hurts less when you can cast yourself as a martyr.
If he does resign he will make a big fuss about "fake news" and the insiders being against him. His sheep will follow him to his news network.
Unless he were to somehow go to prison. There is absolutely no other alternative where he comes out a loser in this. He will make a ton of money for the busiest con job of all time. He also owes some $$ to Hilary Clinton for being the special person she is.

I personally held to the belief during the campaign that he never really wanted to be president but he enjoyed the process, the rallies in particular. The unwavering adulation those rallies gave him were like catnip to his enormous ego, which is why he continued to have them after he became president.
